Akihiko Motoki (元木明彦, Motoki Akihiko) is a main character in Shutokou SPL, alongside being the main protagonist of Ginkai no Speed Star. He drive a Silver Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (964) and he works as mechanic for Tomisaka Auto.
Biography[]
A young mechanic who specializes in servicing Porsches with air-cooled engines. He is a freelance auto mechanic who took over the garage of his senior at work, Yoshimura, in Hachioji, Tokyo. He graduated from a vocational school for automobile maintenance, and according to Shingo Goto, during his vocational school days, he attacked mountain passes with an FC3S RX-7 that he bought for 150,000 yen, and was called "Takao's Schumacher" because of its speed. After graduating from vocational school, he was invited by his classmate Yasuda to join Tomisaka Auto, a company specializing in imported cars. He worked there as an ordinary man, but he decided to go independent after receiving a request from Ishigami, who he became involved with in the aftermath of Yoshimura's fatal accident. He runs a garage by himself, mainly doing work received from the Shimada Group. When he takes on the maintenance of the remaining 12 911s purchased by the buyer group, he proposes that he will do the maintenance by himself, but will pay less in return for a 911 Turbo as the difference in price.
