The CTR Yellowbird is a sports car produced by Ruf Automobile. It made its debut in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 despite first appearing in Wangan Midnight Volume 1 as Tatsuya Shima's Blackbird.
Description[]
Nicknamed the "Yellowbird" due to its impressive yellow color, this legendary vehicle chiseled out numerous records as a commercial vehicle in the circuit time attacks of its day. The weight (engine) is mounted behind the drive axle, and it has intense traction during acceleration. It has a few maneuverability peculiarities because its weight balance is considerably closer to the rear, but the driver can savor its characteristic cornering feel when making use of accelerator control.
Trivia[]
- This may be WMMT's "most expensive" car as in real life, even at the time of its launch in 1987, it already costs US$223.000, although it could vary depending on whether it's directly bought from Ruf or converted from a standard 911.
- Due to an exclusivity agreement between Porsche and Electronic Arts, the Ruf CTR Yellowbird is usually used in place of Porsche 911's in most video games.
- If a Tuning Card with the Gemballa 3.8 RS or Gemballa RSR was transferred to WMMT4, the RSR/3.8 RS will be replaced with the CTR Yellowbird. This feature is only seen in Japan version of MT4.
- This car was removed in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 and replace Porsche 911 Turbo S (930).
