Eriko Asakura (朝倉えりこ, Asakura Eriko) is a major side-character in Wangan Midnight. She is the youngest sister of the late Akio Asakura.
Biography[]
She is the younger sister of the Devil Z previous owner. When she sees Akio and Z running again, she sees her late brother. In order to put an end to her brother's misfortune, she drives the Z with the spare key and tries to sink it into the sea, but Shima stops her. After Z burns down, she goes abroad to study (England in the original manga and anime) to forget everything. In a letter she later sent to Shima, she wrote, "I want (Shima) Tatsuya to forget about the Devil Z too." After that, she does not appear in either the original manga or the anime. She was in love with Blackbird, also known as Tatsuya Shima.
In the Maxi Series, she also tried to sink the Devil Z into the sea, but in 3 until 3DX+, if the player wins this race, she says, "I'm good too..." and is embarrassed that she went too far, unlike in the original manga and anime. From WMMT4 onwards, if you win this race, the story will play out the same as in the original.
