The Feeling Team or Racer Wannabes are minor characters in the Wangan Midnight and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune series.
The Feeling Team are a unknown group of drivers appearing in the manga, anime and Maximum Tune series. In the anime, they first appeared in a red Mazda MX-5 encountering Akio's Devil Z, and later, another group of wannabes suffered from crashing their R32 while racing Akio and Ishida. From Maximum Tune 4 and 5, they cosplayed as Project D from the Initial D series, right down to sharing the same cars as the members.
Kenji Takahashi voices Racer Wannabe 1 in the anime series as well as Gen Sasaki in the same series.

Trivia[]
- The Roadster driven by one of the Racer Wannabes is similar to Toru Suetsugu's Roadster from Initial D Fourth Stage. As both series were produced by ACGT the model was likely reused.
- One of the Feeling Team's members' Roadsters in Maximum Tune 3DX/3DX+ shares the exact same model as Yuji Kishida's upgraded Roadster in the same game.
- Due reworking Story Mode in Maximum Tune 6 ownards, The Feeling Team and their Initial D homage (Chapter 51 Maximum Tune 4-5DX+) were replaced by the chapter involving Hayashi giving his RX-7 FC3S a test drive while making a deal with Kijima at Mt. Taikan Downhill (Chapter 55 in Maximum Tune 6) as Chapter 52~55 in Maximum Tune 5DX+ is the same as Chapter 51~54 in Maximum Tune 6.
