Gemballa is a tuning company based in Leonberg near Stuttgart, Germany, which was founded by and named after Uwe Gemballa in 1981. They provided aftermarket parts mainly for Porsche. This is only foreign manufactured featured in Japanese version of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune until 3DX+ as English versions omitted this manufacturer due licensing.

Trivia[]
- The character Tatsuya Shima drives a black Gemballa 3.8 RS, named the Blackbird. This car only appears in Japanese versions of Maximum Tune games up to 3DX+. In english versions, the Blackbird takes form of a Nissan Fairlady Z Version S (350Z).
- Beside Shima, Masaki, Kouichi Kijima, and Yoshiaki Ishida also drive white RSR, a yellow 3.8 RS, and Avalanche in Japanese Version. In international versions, these car are replaced by Eunos Cosmo, RX-8, and Alcyone SVX.
- Starting from Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 and until 5DX+, Ruf Automobile replaces Gemballa, serving as the substitute manufacturer for Porsche. Unlike Gemballa, RUF can be played in international versions.
