The Gemballa Avalanche is a car produced by Gemballa which was 1st introduced in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3
Description[]
The basic characteristics are similar to 3.8 RS and RSR of the same drive system, but the instability at the corner is covered with a wide body. In addition, maneuverability at the highest speed range can not be tolerated by other body shapes with excellent aerodynamic characteristics. It is a car that can be used from beginner to advanced even though it is RR. (I read the car name as "avalanche")
Trivia[]
- Due to licensing issues, the Avalanche, along with all other Gemballa Cars, only appears in the Japanese versions of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune
- When transferred to Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4, the Avalanche will become the RUF RGT until Maximum Tune 5DX+, where the RGT will become the Porsche 911 Turbo S (991) upon transfer to Maximum Tune 6. This was only seen in Japan version of MT4 as international version is ommited due licensing.
- Yoshiaki Ishida drove an Avalanche and only seen in Japan version version of 3DX and 3DX+ however the English version of the game wass replaced with Alcyone SVX Version L (CXD) due the car unavailable in English version. This car also as suitable replacement for Ferrari Testarossa due Bandai Namco lacking licensing of Ferrari and unavailable in any WMMT Series.
