'I'm surprised! Yamamoto and Ohta on are building the engine, Takagi on the body, and Ueda, Yoshioka, and Tominaga are in as well! This is going to be an amazing Supra! I will run Wangan at over 300 km/h and the circular route within 3 minutes when the roads are clear! The downward force keeps it low - the body is perfectly touched up!'
A much-maligned character in the manga, Gen Sasaki (佐々木 元 Sasaki Gen), fondly known as Gatchan (ガッちゃん Gacchan), is regarded as a joke in the manga, anime, and arcade game. His own vehicle, the Toyota Celsior (Lexus LS400), which he calls the "Super Celsior" has everything from underbody lighting, to fancy emblems, to dark window tinting; but keeps the air conditioner, radio, and the back seat; all of which are normally removed during the lightening process. Although he is a pretty good driver, he gets clobbered every time he goes up against something built to race. He is also quite obnoxious, frequently bragging about the incredible upgrades he's made to psych people out. He embarrassed Reina when he first met her one night while accompanying Yamamoto, mistaking her for a call girl.
His wife is Yumeko Sasaki aka Ms. Sasaki who made briefly appeared in Wangan Midnight anime as well in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 where she only one apperance as she drive Aristo (Chaser in NA version of WMMT5).
