Hiroshi Arai (荒井 広志 Arai Hiroshi), once known as "Ryo," is a Character in Wangan Midnight: C1 Runner.
Biography[]
Born in Ehime Prefecture. A car critic with multiple pen names, his writing is unconditionally accepted by Ogishima and Shiina. In the past, Ota said he was "a man who would do anything to make money with cars", such as importing shady oil and brokering used cars. In order to buy "GT Cars" and republish it, he contacted Ogishima and Ota, and worked energetically to get Shiina as a sponsor. When Ota asked him about his true intentions in republishing "GT Cars", he replied that he loves tuning cars.
He was once known as "Ryo", a legendary rotary driver who was strictly forbidden to show his face in the magazine. He had a goal of entrusting Ogishima with the Sub-6 Minute lap around the C1 Loop that he had once tried, as Kimura had also failed to do when he was active. He has his eye on Nobu as a spurt to motivate Ogishima, who is likely to become a car commentator, but he also tries to tell Nobu various things.
