Description[]
The CSL is a further tuned special model using the E46 3 series model M3 as a base.
Equipped with a naturally aspirated high-speed rotary type 3.2 liter series 6 DOHC engine that aims to be the world's best, this model achieves significant weight reduction by utilizing a carbon roof and other lightweight materials.
It's a premium sports model in which one can experience BMW's legendary inline 6 engine "Silky Six".

- The M3 CSL can be customized to resemble both the M3 GTR road car (Aero Set C, FRP Bonnet A) and race car (Aero Set E, FRP Bonnet C).
- The M3 GTR is commonly known as the "most wanted car" due to it being the vehicle for the protagonist of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005). Clarence "Razor" Callahan, the main antagonist, steals the M3 GTR to cause crimes and participate in races until the player reclaims it at the cost of being the most wanted criminal in Rockport City with Razor's imprisonment.
