Masaki's Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD3S) (also known as the "FD" or "FD3S") is the signature vehicle of Masaki. It is the second RX-7 seen in the series, and the first major RX-7.

The car is a Series 6 Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R, chassis code FD3S. It is painted in Sunburst Yellow, but is also frequently shown in Sunlight Silver Metallic.

The RX-7 is equipped with a 13B-REW, an sequentially-turbocharged engine. The FD made 500PS.

- In WMMT4-5DX+, Masaki's RX-7 was labeled as a Type R Bathurst R, due the game setting the Sunburst Yellow colour as a Bathurst R. In Maximum Tune 6 however, it was labled as a Type R.
