The RUF CTR (also nicknamed the "Yellowbird") is a sports car produced by RUF. It made its debut in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4.
Description[]
Nicknamed the "Yellowbird" due to its impressive yellow color, this legendary vehicle chiseled out numerous records as a commercial vehicle in the circuit time attacks of its day. The weight (engine) is mounted behind the drive axle, and it has intense traction during acceleration. It has a few maneuverability peculiarities because its weight balance is considerably closer to the rear, but the driver can savor its characteristic cornering feel when making use of accelerator control.
Trivia[]
- Due to an exclusivity agreement between Porsche and Electronic Arts, the RUF CTR is usually used in place of Porsche 911's in most video games.
- One of CTR dress up kits is a Blackbird-based aero-kit (Aero Set D).
- If a Tuning Card with the Gemballa 3.8 RS or the Gemballa RSR was transferred to Maximum Tune 4, the RSR/3.8 RS will be replaced with the CTR Yellowbird. This feature is only seen in the Japanese version due to Gemballa being cut in export version.
- This car was removed in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 and replaced with the Porsche 911 Turbo S (930).
