Shinji Ogishima (荻島信二, Ogishima Shinji), is supporting major character in Wangan Midnight and an editor of the automotive magazine "GT Cars". He's the main "Arc-Rival" during the "FD Master" arc, and would later go onto becoming one of the main protagonists of the C1 Runner series.
Biography[]
Wangan Midnight[]
Shinji made his debut near the end of the original Wangan Midnight manga. He became one of the main characters in Wangan Midnight: C1 Runner, replacing Akio Asakura. He was known as the "FD Master" as he made a debut appearance driving a third generation Mazda RX-7 Type R (FD3S). He is an ex-boyfriend of Yoshimi Yoshizaki Who planned to get married but because of different paths. They ended up broke up. Shinji also worked at GT cars for 10 years while he was still in college at that time.

In C1 Runner, he is joined by his friend, Nobu Setoguchi, who also drives the same car as Ogishima, but with different modifications and appearances
