- The Roadster was used as a replacement for The Feeling Team's Nissan Skyline GT-R, making it a separated racer in the game.
- In Maximum Tune 4 to 5DX+, the Roadsters would later be replaced with an AE86 Trueno and an FD3S RX-7.
- Instead of the Silver Roadster, the Blue Roadster was originally going to be paired with a Z34 Fairlady Z., as an unused loading screen sprite of the Z34 can be found within the files of Maximum Tune 3DX and 3DX+.
