VS Medal is a feature introduced in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5. There are 4 types of medals awarded in VS matches: "VS Medal", "1 Car Outrun Medal", "2 Cars Outrun Medal", and "3 Cars Outrun Medal".

VS Grade[]
Collecting the "VS Medals" will increase your "VS Grade". VS Grades vary depending how many medals you've accumulated. For each VS Grade, there exists the 3 grades of VS: 1st Grade, 1st Grade Ace, and 1st Grade Pro.
In Maximum Tune 5 ~ 6R, the highest VS Grade is 10th Grade. In Maximum Tune 6RR, the highest VS Grade is increased to 12th Grade.
Strength aura/Aura Motifs[]
You will acquire Aura Motifs as your VS Grade rises. You can continue to collect Aura Motifs and since you can change them at the terminal, you can put on your favorite Motifs regardless of your rank! (Aura Motifs can be turned ON or OFF at the terminal.)
