Wangan Midnight (湾岸ミッドナイト, Wangan Middonaito) is a 2002 racing video game released for the PlayStation 2. It's a console port version of Wangan Midnight, published by Namco in Arcade version while Genki self-published PlayStation 2 version.

Trivia

• This game was developed and released by Genki, the studio behind Wangan Midnight and updated version, Wangan Midnight R, which releases a month after PS2 release.
• The console version feature Tatsuya Shima's Blackbird, a RUF RCT-based car, along with dialogue that was originally intended for the arcade version but was cut due to licensing issues with Porsche.
• The soundtrack features music from the arcade version, along with a few songs that were composed exclusively for the console version.
• A guidebook was released in April 2002.
• Like the arcade version, this game was based on the Shutokou Battle series (also known as Tokyo Xtreme Racer in the International market), another racing game published by Genki.
• Mitsubishi Libero Cargo and Suzuki Jimny are only two cars used for asset only as they are not traffic cars.
• This is the only console Wangan Midnight game to feature the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII (CT9A) as it does not appear in any of the Wangan Midnight games.
• The song 'Pryer' used for ending theme of the game was performed by Japanese musician, Mari Hamada.
• Like arcade version, Maki Kamiya and his Lancer Evolution VI is absent in this game.
