Wangan Midnight is a 2002 racing video game released for the PlayStation 2.[1] It's a console version of both Wangan Midnight and Wangan Midnight R, released by Namco in Arcade version while Genki released in PlayStation 2 version.[2] [3]

- Despite the game was based on arcade version, this game was released by Genki, development of Wangan Midnight and Wangan Midnight R.
- The console version add Tatsuya Shima's Blackbird (RUF RCT) as well dialogue that originally made appear in arcade version before cut as the result due licensing with Porsche.
- The BGM contains music from arcade version and few song made exclusive for console version.
- A guidebook was released in April 2002.[4]
- Like the arcade version, this game was based on Shutokou Battle (Tokyo Xtreme Racer in International market), another racing game published by Genki.
- This is the only console Wangan Midnight game to feature the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII (CT9A).
