Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune is an arcade racing series based on the Wangan Midnight series published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. In North America, it is known as Maximum Tune.

- Before changed name to Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, Namco showed an early development while using tentative name, Wangan Midnight: Maxi Boost.
- In Japan and Asia version, these game were released under Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, however during release WMMT5 in North American, the title just became only Maximum Tune to remove the "Wangan Midnight" part of the title.
- Celsior, Aristo, and Soarer are currently playable in Japan/Asia version and were not available in North American version due Namco unable secured license of Lexus branded car.
- Due licensing problem, Gemballa will only playable in Japan version of Maximum Tune 1 until Maximum Tune 3DX+ as export version was omitted.
- The only Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 series never release for Asian region was Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 R due the game cancelled causing of COVID-19 Pandemic.
- Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 series were skipped over for Mainland China release due unknown reason as the game jumped straight from 5Dx+ to upcoming games. The case similar for North American region that never release of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 as the they jumped straight over from 3DX+ to Maximum Tune 5.
