Yoshiaki Ishida (イシダヨシアキ) is the last character to make an appearance in the 1st Volume of Wangan Midnight.
He was a Award winning Model Photographer who worked with Reina Akikawa. He began to chase the Devil Z after his own sight of it passing him in his Testarossa and alongside Reina, would be the first one to hear of The Tuner of Hell by Yamamoto. In the events of his ark, he suffered from Cancer, in which caused him to cough out Blood in random times and become unable to become satisfied with food. Yoshiaki would appear very little after the crashing of the Z. He disappears completely after the crash in the Anime, only his car was used once as testing by Koichi Hiramoto.
His last in-person appearance is in Volume 11 Series 32 "Pride 5".
Past Life[]
Yoshiaki was born into a Poor Household, with his Father being the only one who worked within his Family non-stop in a Factory to support Yoshiaki and his Mother. However, this lead to Yoshiaki hating his Father for that reason, because what he all wanted was to have a Rich Lifestyle and didn't want to work like his father in the future. He moved out from his Parents as soon as he could in Pursuit of that Lifestyle, he would find his passion for Photography and from there became a famous and rich celebrity.[1]
He fell in love with a Woman at first sight and got married with her, but would separate after 3 months. He would then marry another Woman, but then separate after 4 months.[2]
His Father became sick with Cancer, but he continued to work for his Family despite the Sickness. He was issued to the Hospital and died of Cancer.[1]
Story[]
After his Award Ceremony for Japans Best Photographer, Yoshiaki would meet Reina at the Venues Garage to drive at the Wangan with his Testarossa. They would encounter the Devil Z (with Akio and Rumi) and would then go on a Race with the Z.
After the Race, the Belt of the Engine broke and after stopping at a rest spot and finding a Car ahead of them with a Couple making out inside, he would approach and offer money for a Pantihose of them as a Belt replacement.

Trivia[]
- In the anime, it is stated that Ishida's tuned Ferrari Testarossa has around 600hp.
- The bodykit of Ishida's Testarossa is from Koenig Special which is a tuning company in Germany. The only difference between the bodykit and Ishida's car is that front bumper is changed and are different.
- Ishida's Testarossa does not appear in the Maximum Tune games, due to licensing issues. It may also be due to the fact that Ishida's Testarossa is heavily customized and Ferrari has a strict policy with the customization of their cars. As result, his Testarossa is often replaced by other vehicles such as the Gemballa Avalanche (in Japan Version)/Subaru SVX (in English version), Corvette ZR1, and Lamborghini Aventador. If the Testarossa were to appear in the series, it would be left stock or appear with minimal modifications like Blackbird in the form of the RUF RCT in 5DX and 5DX+.
- His only Console game appearance is in the PS3 game, but only as a Tuning Card.
